ReelzChannel has confirmed with an article about the fact that Montepulciano, Italy’s tourism association informed Twilighters Italia that New Moon will be filming there from May 25Th to May 30Th. How exciting!!!
Word on the web is that New Moon will shoot in Montepulciano, Italy, in May. Montepulciano’s tourism association told staff of Twilighters Italia that the movie is due to film there from May 25th until May 30th.
There’s still no official word on whether the Volturi scenes will actually shoot in Volterra; though as far as book continuity is concerned, it would be a good move on Summit’s behalf. With Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds, Push) now confirmed to play child vampire Jane, fans are anxious to know who will be taking up the roles of the remaining Volturi. Last we heard of the rumored actors, Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical) found the idea quite funny, and Ben Barnes (Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) knew nothing about it.
