Hey everyone I just got off the phone with a wonderful woman, Tanya Dickenson. And she is the events manager for the 2009 Vision Awards where Twilight stars are going to attend the show.
So now I have all the information we all need for the event:
- The price for a normal student ticket is indeed $200.00. But when you place your order for your tickets just mention that you saw all this information on OCN and she’ll take $100 bucks off that, so for Twilight fans the ticket price is $100.00
- The event is a black tie event, which means there will be a red carpet and all that good stuff (It’s going to be very fancy, it’s an award show so go figure). So here are the guide lines for what to wear…
- Guys, everyone at the award show are going to be wearing tuxs and suits, and I’m sure you wouldn’t want to feel akward being there around everyone in tuxs and suits so dress to impress! Tanya also mentioned that it’s also formal, but dress up as much as you can if you decide to dress formally.
- Girls, if you’re going to attend the event make sure you either wear a very nice gown, or a beautiful cocktail dress and maybe heels? You get the point, dress up as much as you can, dress to impress!
- The event is going to start at 4:30 PM and end at 9:00 PM. And inbetween that time there is going to be many different things going on. At 5:00 PM the Red Carpet will take place, cocktails will be served, and the Silent auction. And at 7:00 PM dinner will be served, awards will be given (Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene are presenting an award!!), and there will also be entertainment.
- The event adress is going to be at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, (9500 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210).
- OH and about pictures and autographs and blahblahblah… Tanya said pictures and autographs will be allowed but you need to realize that this is a big event and you need to be as calm as possible. (She knows what it’s like to be a fan, cause she calls herself the Twi-aunt, haha! So she understands that you’d be excited just try your best to be.. As calm as possible?)
