The iconic figure of late night television used his show last night to address a personal scandel. In between jokes and his usual dead-pan comedy, Letterman detailed a recent attempt to blackmail him. Apparently first being notified with a package that contained confirmation of the alleged misdeeds by Letterman, and then later an extortion attempt for $2 million dollars, the married father of one seemed to take the TV viewers step by step through the entire illegal snafu.
All day the media has been jumping on this story, which includes the words, “SEX WITH FEMALE STAFFERS.” We at OMGCelebrityNews.com were not about to miss the plurality of that phrase.
No dates have been forthcoming as to when these misdeeds occured, but Letterman has been married since March to the mother of his 6 year old son.
Using words like creepy and terrifying, Letterman managed to move himself from the perpetrator of possible sexual harassment to the victim of an extortionist.
Admitting to sex with ”women who work on this show,” Letterman also acknowledged that he hoped to “protect his job.”
