Sad, sad news!
James Owen Sullivan a drummer and best known to fans as The Rev, from the rock-band Avenged Sevenfold, has reportedly been found dead at his Huntington Beach house in sunny California.
It is still unknown as to how he died, but police have immediately launched an investigation to figure out how he may have passed away. Sources reveal he may have died from natural causes, but with James only be 28-years-old we have our doubts.
The group that won MTV’s Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2006 posted this statement on their bands website —
“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan,” read a statement on the group’s website late tonight. “Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time. Jimmy you are forever in our hearts. We love you.”
So sad, our thoughts are with his family and friends.
