It was nine months ago when news first broke that Tiger Woods was involved in a minor car accident which caused all hell to break loose, not to mention the multiple times he cheated on his ex-wife becoming public.
It became official at the Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Florida on Monday (August 23) that Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegen have ended their marriage.
Here’s what the couple released in a statement:
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and always will be, of paramount importance to both of us.” Their daughter Sam Alexis is 3 years old, and son Charlie Axel is one. “Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”
The terms of settlement between the two have not been released yet, but we’re sure they will and we can’t wait to see it!
