During a recent a show in Paris, pop star Katy Perry embraced her inner GaGa and decided to sing “Born This Way.” Why? We aren’t sure.

We just can’t understand why an artist would sing another artist’s song who she is currently battling heavily with on the charts. Katy just released her new single E.T. featuring none other than Kanye West. With GaGa just releasing Born This way the two songs are in direct competition now.

We’re just curious who is advising Katy to do something so silly. Promote yourself before promoting your competition. Sure it may have earned you an article on our site, but omg, let’s be honest, GaGa sounds better. We think you should just stick to singing your own songs. Everyone’s favorite new Glee star Darren Criss and Katy Perry performed her smash hit Teenage Dream at the Trevor Live event on Sunday (December 5) in Los Angeles.

The event benefited The Trevor Project which is a crisis hotline for LGBTG youth, check out their performance (below)!

We can’t get enough of Darren on Glee, off the camera, and on stage, he owns it every time! Is anyone else going to his show at the Roxy on December 18 in LA?!

Katy Perry Performs At The Victoria Secret Fashion Show!

Katy Perry showed off her colorful side as she performed her hot single Firework at the 2010 Victoria Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday (November 10) at NYC’s Lexington Avenue Armory.

Also in attendance as a performer was Akon, he performed his song Angel as models strutted their stuff down the catwalk during the “Heavenly Bodies” section.

One thing we’ll always love about Katy is the fact that she’s confident enough to perform live, bravo! The show airs on November 30 at 10pm on CBS.

As Katy Perry has said, the song Firework off of her album Teenage Dream is her favorite off of the album, as it is ours! The song gives off such a great vibe and feeling it’s impossible not to sing along blissfully!

Katy debuted a trailer of the music video earlier this week, it/she looks absolutely amazing! Most of the video was shot in Budapest and directed by Dave Meyers, check it out (below)!

She also performed the song on the UK’s hit TV show X Factor, where she gave the best vocal performance of the song to date, check it out (below)!

You’d think she’d just make some calls to get it all settled, but even celebrities stress over normal things such as party planning!

Rihanna has been stressing quiet a bit over the planning of her good friend Katy Perry‘s bachelorette party. Why? Because Miz. RiRi is planning it all! She wants it to be the most amazing party EVER, she wants the pre-wedding celebrations to be as elaborate as the wedding to Katy’s hubby-to-be Russel Brand.

RiRi says, “It’s taking up way more time than my tour. It’s so much pressure. Her wedding is going to be the best wedding I’ve ever been to, and now I have to match the bachelorette party to that!”

We cannot even begin to fathom how crazy that party is going to be, 3 ft. male exotic dancers for the win!

Miley Cyrus opens the show with Party in the USA leaving very little to the imagination with her ensemble, check it out (below, especially the 2:46 mark for some laughs)!

Here’s Miley flaunting her stuff in a white leotard while performing Can’t Be Tamed, the performance reminds us of Scooby Doo on Spooky Island, you know, during the dance sequence when Scrappy tries taking over the world… But, other than that kudos to Miley, she actually doesn’t sound too bad given how much dancing is going on.

Justin Bieber killed it on stage while he performed his latest single Somebody To Love along with his hit single Baby, check out his impressive performance (below)!

Katy Perry brings Candyland to Toronto with her adorable performance for her smash summer anthem California Girls, check it out (below)!

Ke$ha rocked the house with her/the most over played song on the radio, Tik Tok, check it out (below)!
