New Moon Fan Event In Germany!

Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, and Bryce Dallas Howard all were loving lovely and full of energy at The Twilight Saga: New Moon fan event in Berlin, Germany on Saturday (April 10).

Although we love, love Rachelle Lefevre we cannot deny Bryce’s liciousness, looking hot mama! And of course Bronson with his cute silly little faces, work it! Then Chaske, looking good Mr. Pack leader!

The New Moon Parody By The Hillywood Show!

The Hillywood show has done it again with their brand new, New Moon Parody. It amazes us how far and out of their way they went to create such an amazing parody. All of the actors and actresses looked very similar to the actual cast, the dancing was superb, and the scenery was gorgeous, bravo!

FUN FACTS:

• Bella’s truck in ‘New Moon’ Parody is the official screen-used truck seen in Summit Entertainment’s: Twilight.

• The core of this video was shot in Forks & La Push in Washington.

• The coldest day on set was 22 degrees.

• New Moon’ Parody took a total of 5 months to complete including pre-production, production & post-production with a total of 22 separate days of filming.

New Moon DVD Release!

Exciting news for all the Twi-Hards out there!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD is expected to be hitting shelves on March 21st. It will feature some deleted scenes, commentary from director Chris Weitz and cast members, and some making of and behind the scenes stuff!

We could expect around 20 minutes of deleted scenes with around a good 10 minutes of the flick that was not shown in theaters. How exciting!

As of now the DVD is not for sale yet, but you can check out the pre-order pages on Amazon for the DVD and Blu-ray editions!

We’ll let you know when they are officially available for pre-order!

Check it out! Here are some new deleted scene stills from The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The stills are from the New Moon Illustrated Companion book that do not appear in the movie, though they should have! We love us some Victoria!

We could expect to see tons of more deleted scenes and other goodies when the New Moon DVD is released, which is set to be released on March 21st, so keep those calendars marked!

Sherlock Holmes Debuts Big, Avatar Still Dominates! Plus New Moon Sum Up!

With it being the week of Christmas the box office is destined to make bank! And that’s just what it did, this year Christmas day fell on Friday bringing in a record breaking $91 million, topping last year’s $75 million Christmas which fell on Thursday, making this year the biggest Christmas box office ever domestically!

Why might you ask about the big jump this year? Well one of the main reasons is because of James Cameron’s magnificent over-the-top action, adventure, thriller, and sci-filicious movie, Avatar which brought in an estimated $23.55 million.But, let’s not forget about Guy Ritchie‘s remake of Sherlock Holmes with the impressive cast consisting of Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams which brought in an estimated $24.77 million. Another necessity for this record breaking Christmas was Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel which brought in an estimated $14.5 million.

Below is the breakdown of how much each movie made!

Avatar — With this weekend being the second weekend Avatar is in the box office it only dropped 2.6% from last weekend’s $77.02 million to this weekend’s estimated $75 million. Bringing Avatar‘s domestic estimated box office total to $212.26 million, with its foreign numbers topping $402.9 million, making the worldwide gross $615.16million! With the weekend numbers being estimates it is possible that Avatar can take home the No surprise there, this movie was absolutely breath taking with its gorgeous graphics and storyline.
Sherlock Holmes — This was the opening weekend for the mystery thriller movie, Sherlock Holmes. On Friday it took in an estimated $24.77 million, on Saturday an estimated $21.95 million, and on Sunday an estimated $18.65 million. Making the film’s estimated weekend opening a total of about $65.38 million. With that being said Guy Ritchie‘s Sherlock Holmes is the new record holder for Christmas day openings, bravo! There aren’t any numbers available for the foreign box office yet (they’ll become available soon)!
Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel — The Squeakquel to the very successful Alvin And The Chipmunks franchise opened on Wednesday bringing in $18.01 million. On Thursday it brought in an estimated $8.05 million, then jumped 80.1% on Friday bringing in an estimated $14.5 million, then had another 40.9% jump on Saturday bringing in an estimated $20.42 million, and finally sealed the deal making an estimated $15.27 million on Sunday. There aren’t any numbers available for the foreign box office yet (they’ll become available soon)!
Other movies also participating in the biggest Christmas box office are It’s Complicated staring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin which brought in an estimated $22.11 million. Up In The Air featuring George Clooney, Vera Farmiga and Twilight hottie Anna Kendrick which brought in an estimated $11.75 million. Finally, another contributor is Sandra Bullock‘s sports drama The Blind Side which brought in an estimated $11.73 million.

As of Sunday December 27th The Twilight Saga: New Moon has brought in an outstanding $280.92 million domestically, and $381.5 million in the foreign box office making the grand total $662.43 million! The power of Twilight fans sure is impressive!

New Moon Keeps The Ball Rolling, But Is Sadly Blind Sided!

New Moon has been in theaters for about 4 weeks now and has been cashing in on the Twi-Cash, but has sadly been blind sided by Sandra Bullock‘s The Blind Side which was released the same day as New Moon (November 20th).

New Moon has brought in an impressive $258.37M domestically and $321.46M in the foreign box office making the combined 20-day total $579.83M! The Blind Side a sports drama has brought in $133.29M, but it wasn’t ’til last weekend that The Blind Side brought in $5M more than New Moon, shocking right?

In other movie news, 2012, the action drama that has been sweeping the nation has brought in a staggering $669.87M since the 13th of last month (November). Drew Barrymore and Robert DiNero‘s new comedy, Everybody’s Fine, pretty much bombed at the box office bringing in a measly $4.8M since opening day (December 4th). If you think about it, New Moon made 5 times as much in just MIDNIGHT sales, madness!
