Selena Gomez unleashed her inner Latina as she covered one of the widely known Selena Quintanilla hits, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, at her concert in San Antonio on Sunday night (February 7).

Watch the video (below) of Selena’s performance and make sure to pay close attention as the person recording focuses on Selena’s rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas a couple times!

The team color of choice was pink on Super Sunday at a sold-out AT&T Center, where Selena Gomez played the post-rodeo concert. The screaming never really stopped once Gomez took the stage and launched into Kiss & Tell.

Selena was prom-night chic, dancing around the edge of the circular stage in a shimmering white-and-silver dress and sparkly black vest, perhaps a nod to the Spurs. (Gomez, who grew up near Dallas, is a fan.)

She spiced up her 14-song set with a few covers, including the Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way’; Katy Perry’s ‘Hot N Cold’; and the show-closer ‘Magic,’. The one for the highlight reel was a spirited version of “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” which Gomez, who was named after the Tejano superstar, dedicated to Selena.

Cool fact: Did you know that Selena Gomez was actually named after Selena Quintanilla? Selena says, “My dad and family loved her. So when my mother got pregnant with me, he wanted to name me Selena, after her. As I got older and could understand why I was named after her, I went to go visit her grave and where she used to perform.”

How interesting!

It seems as though there may be some tension between the used-to-be inseparable teen superstars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.

At a recent fan meeting in the UK Demi was asked, “How’s Selena?” She then replied, “Ask Taylor.” *Insert big grin*

She definitely is being sassy, but as to whom she is referring to.. Taylor Lautner or Taylor Swift still is a mystery. We see why she may be annoyed with either one of the Taylor’s.

Perhaps it has something to do with the rumors floating around that Gomez is getting back together with Swifty’s ex, The Launtinator?

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez had a girls night out on Tuesday night (October 27th) in Los Angeles. The duo had an Authentic Italian dinner at Maggiano’s restaurant in Little Italy. After dinner Selena tweeted, “So what do Taylor and I do after a nice meal… Eat again. Yup.” The two then enjoyed some frozen yogurt at Menchie’s, our fav place for some froyo! Taylor added, “Fancy dress/high heels night with @selenagomez!”

It all sounds like fun, but do you think it may have been a little awkward?

Both Taylor, 19, and Selena, 17, have been (most likely) romantically linked to the almighty Taylor Lautner. Taylena’s days are over being that we haven’t seen pictures of the two since their froyo date! Now it’s T-Swizzle’s turn to pounce on the New Moon wolf, and that she is doing!
