No Surprise There! Ricky Martin’s Sexy First Glee Episode!

Boy am I excited! This is the first time I’ve came across the news that Ricky Martin has been casted in Glee! Although it does kind of make sense… the whole coming out stunt, this was undoubtedly something destined for Ricky’s future.

While Ricky isn’t livin’ la vida loca, he’ll be shaking his bon-bons and singing in his first episode. Matthew Morrison a.k.a Mr. Schuester aside from being the Glee club teacher is a Spanish teacher who comes across Ricky’s character after doubting his Spanish speaking abilites. (Read more below!)

“[Ricky] came onto the show because my (Mr. Schue)[character’s] Spanish speaking skills were coming into question, so I started attending night school and he was my teacher. He was my Spanish teacher. I go to night school now because I need to know how to speak Spanish so I can teach Spanish.”

At this very moment I’m almost positive you’re pondering the many various songs he could possibly be singing and if this one didn’t come to mind, you fail! But, if you guessed LMFAO‘s I’m Sexy and I know It, bingo you got it! Surprise, surprise!

We can only imagine how ridiculous, hilarious, and provocative it’s going to be!

Apple’s Steve Jobs Dead At 56!

It’s a sad day. The co-founder of Apple – Steve Jobs has passed away at the young age of 56.

Jobs has been suffering from health-related issues since 2004 including pancreatic cancer, and a liver transplant.

Apple released the following statement -

“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

Amy Winehouse Has Passed Away

It’s a sad day for the music world has truly lost such an amazing unique talent.

The 27-year-old Grammy-winning British singer, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment on Saturday (July 23). It was only two months ago in May when Amy checked into rehab for the substance abuse she was going through. The cause of her death hasn’t been confirmed yet, but an autopsy has been scheduled to take place tomorrow.

A press release from the Metropolitan Police, explains —

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

‘Breaking Dawn’ Panel At Comic-Con!

It feels like it was just yesterday when I attended the viewing of the New Moon panel at Comic-Con two years ago – oh how time flies!

Summit Entertainment announced that there will be a Breaking Dawn panel at Comic-Con in San Diego in July, check out some info (below)!

Those who stop by [the Summit Entertainment booth] will be able to speak live via phone with select actors and filmmakers from Summit films, as well as participate in contests and giveaways.

In addition to Summit’s booth presence at Comic-Con®, the studio will also host one of the first panels of the day in Hall H on Thursday, July 21st dedicated to THE TWILIGHT SAGA franchise. Fans interested in the story’s final chapters will be shown exclusive footage from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 and be treated to a filmmaker and cast Q&A session providing details on the first half of the epic two part finale, in theatres November 18, 2011.
